The facility project management involves work in different phases of project management like, development, design, plan, schedule, and management. The facilities manager for the project will be involved in this work. All the project management services come under these personnel.

The role of the manager involved in facility project management is to ensure a safe environment for the users of the project and to provide proper access to it. The manager has to prepare the proper project documentation and share it with the stake holders involved in the project.
