When data on hard drives with XP is lost, windows instantly brings back the files from another drive or location where it ha been backed up and stored. Though the technique is useful it has to be practiced properly and its working properly understood. But it is not safer than other options.

External hard drives and servers are the more reliable methods to back up your data and backup programs in a safe and efficient manner. Offsite backups are also good as the backup data is not left around your office. It is put in charge of a company which protects it.

Whatever method you use for backing up your data, they are all easy to use CD and DVD backups are easy. Use the software installed in your computer for backup. Servers are also easy to use as you can upload your data and log into the server at any time for access.
